Halo 2 Details
GamesAreFun have posted some details on Bungie’s anticipated FPS, Halo 2,, due early next year on Microsoft’s XBox console. Here’s a clip:
New to Halo 2 is the ability to utilize two weapons at the same time, commonly known as “John Woo-ing it” after the popular Hong Kong action director (and North American movie producer) who made his mark in cinema with fast paced action flicks in which the main characters often used two guns at the same time.
This isn’t just for show, either. Bungie has apparently decided that each trigger on the Xbox’s controller will be used to fire the weapons independently of each other. In other words, the left trigger will fire the weapon in the left hand, and the right the right hand weapon. The design of this is to be more strategic during combat.
