LucasArts Announces Star Wars: Republic Commando

Go deep behind enemy lines as an elite member of a Republic Special Operations unit in LucasArts’ newly announced Star Wars: Republic Commando. The game, which is still in development with a working title, is a dark and intense first-person shooter powered by an enhanced version of the acclaimed Unreal engine technology.
Destined for the Xbox video game system and the PC, Star Wars: Republic Commando will present dramatic military-style action set against the backdrop of the Clone Wars. The game is scheduled for release for summer 2004.
