“Alien vs. Predator” and “The Fantastic Four” Get 2004 Dates
“Alien vs. Predator” and “The Fantastic Four” Set 2004 Openings: Although these two films that have yet to begin principal photography or announced the casting of its leads, both have announced what their release dates will be in 2004. “Alien vs. Predator,” bringing together two film properties, is set for an August 6 wide opening, while the comic book adaptation “The Fantastic Four” has snagged the December 17 date.
I’m extremely dubious that director/writer Paul W.S. Anderson can bring “Aliens vs. Predator” to theaters only 9 months after filming begins, and expect that to move down the road; I’d peg “Four” as having a better chance of sticking to its chosen date.
