Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time - Reviewed

The ambitious project of recreating the same love and enjoyment many gamers still carry from the original Prince of Persia title was picked up by the team at Ubisoft. The history of the Prince of Persia line dates back to 1989, when a enthusiastic and gifted programmer Jordan Mechner ventured forth and formed the wonderful title based around the magical world of Persia and set in a time of war and chaos, the Middle-Ages. With Sands of Time being the fourth title in the Prince of Persia line, Ubisoft is picking up the torch in attempts to take the series where they have previously not been, through time.

Prince of Persia: Sands of Time opens with the army of King Sharaman, father of the Prince, laying siege to the palace of the Maharajah. With cannon fire striking the palace walls and a battle raging, you charge the gates and dive inside just as the entrance is blown and blocked with rubble. Once inside the Prince begins his quest to capture a prize worthy of the inevitable conquest underway just outside the palace gates. Capturing his prize will be no small feat, with the war raging on friendly cannon fire as well as enemy soldiers and palace defense systems all standing in the way of the Prince and his trophy, The Dagger of Time. Unravel the mystery, read the full Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Review.
