Katie Holmes in the next Batman film?
IGN FilmForce is reporting that Katie Holmes is a name being thrown around for a role as Bruce Wayne’s girlfriend in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming Batman movie. The site also reports that Christopher Eccleston is in talks to play a villain in the movie, presumably The Scarecrow.
One plot point IGN FF mentions as well is that one of the villains, either the Scarecrow or Ra’s Al Ghul, will have a history with Dr. Thomas Wayne, the father of Bruce Wayne who was fatally shot when Bruce was a boy. The next Batman movie from Warner Bros. stars Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman and Michael Caine as Alfred the Butler. Shooting will begin in January in England.
