Serious Sam 2 Update
Following through with what it said last week, Croteam today put forth an update on Serious Sam 2. The update doesn’t state tons of information, but does detail that the developer’s added a Bloom code effect to some levels in the upcoming title. The update also states that Croteam has created a fully functional “Serious Particle Editor”, one that’s being used by Croteam’s artists to create various particle effects in Serious Sam 2. Lastly, although there aren’t any screenshots and nothing as far as an exact date is put down, the update reveals that Serious Sam 2 will be released around the same time as Half-Life 2, Halo 2 and so forth, with the game apparently being on par with the other titles visually. Croteam’s website has finer details on the progress of the game for those interested.
