Game Prices Going Up?
While prices for AAA games have stayed steady at around $50 for the most part for many years, CNNMoney.com’s “Game Over” column reports that may be changing as Activision’s CEO stated last week in a financial conference that prices will go up $3 to $5 for next gen console games. The increased cost of making games could be the main factor in the decision to raise prices.
