New writer on “Harry Potter 5″
ComingSoon.net (http://www.comingsoon.net) recently spoke to “Harry Potter” franchise producer David Heyman, who revealed that Steve Kloves, who adapted the screenplays for the first four Harry Potter films, will step down for number 5: “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.”
Michael Goldenberg (”Contact”) will be adapting the screenplay for the fifth film. “Harry Potter” series creator and author J.K. Rowling will, as usual, have final approval on the script.
Goldenberg is also penning another book-to-film adaptation: He’s writing the screenplay for “Where the Wild Things Are.”
