Zombies

in vogue at the moment. Maybe it’s personal bias, but I credit a lot of this resurgence in the genre to the best movie
last year that didn’t involve hobbits. That being Shaun of the Dead. (To the person who stole my DVD’s of both Shaun
and its psuedo pre-cursor, Spaced: I hope you become one of the walking dead very soon.)

Yes, zombies are fashionable, it seems. With that in mind, here comes another survival horror title involving the
slowly wandering living dead, called Zombies. Hurrah! Before you go writing this off, though, this one has an
interesting twist. As you get attacked, you slowly start becoming a zombie. You can then use your impending undeadness
to your advantage. An interesting game mechanic if it’s pulled off well. Certainly enough to catch my jaded, survival
horror loathing eye.
