Google enhances search with Firefox
Now Google’s faster than ever on Firefox and Mozilla browsers. The search engine takes advantage of Mozilla’s precaching technology to load the top search result as soon as the results page is displayed which allows for near instant load times for your top search results. This is not currently available in IE or other browsers.
With prefetching enabled, you may end up with cookies and web pages in your web browser’s cache from web sites that you did not click on since prefetching happens automatically when you view Google search results pages.
