Batman Sequel for 2008
With progress being judged by small discussion between Nolan and Bale on the set of another film, it was hard to see the production of a Batman sequel making any progress. In the past few months Warner Bros has not been all that entirely concerned about their booming franchise and continue to ensure those who care that the film is progressing.
However, as we have learned from upcoming projects such as Indiana Jones 4, productions always stall until there is a finalized script.
As of the date of this article, David S. Goyer has yet to create a script for the Batman Begins sequel. Because of the lack of script, we began to plan for the release of the next Batman film to occur some time during 2009.
Fortunately, it looks like Warner Bros does not want us to wait that long either. Alan Horn, President and COO of Warner Bros, was present at the ShoWest event in Las Vegas this Thursday and announced that the sequel to Batman Begins has become Warner Bros top priority for 2008.
Sounds good… but we are not buying anything till we see a script. For Batman Begins info, media, etc, go to the Batman Begins Movie Page.
