“The Wolfman” get a Director
The Hollywood Reporter reports that Mark Romanek has been hired to direct Benicio Del Toro in a remake of “The Wolfman” for Universal Pictures. Scott Stuber and Mary Parent are producing the remake. Andrew Kevin Walker (”Se7en”) penned the screenplay.
Like the 1941 original, the movie will tell of a man who returns from the U.S. to his ancestral home in Victorian-era Great Britain and gets bitten by a werewolf, thus transforming him into one every full moon.
