Lord of the Rings Online to Expand
GameSpy has word on plans for The Lord of the Rings Online: The Eye of the Iron Crown, an upcoming free expansion for Turbine’s MMORPG. According the report, the add-on will include Book 10 in the game’s epic storyline, over 100 new quests, a dozen new monsters, new dungeons, as well as a new reputation and bartering system, “session play” for Rangers and Trolls, and “critter play,” which is illegal in many states. No release date for the expansion is offered.
