‘Heroes’ Spin-Off Taps Top Writers
NBC’s hit TV series Heroes has spun off a second series, Heroes: Origins, which will feature episodes written by some of Hollywood’s top writer/directors including Kevin Smith (Clerks), Eli Roth (Hostel), and Michael Dougherty (Trick ‘r Treat). Dougherty also co-wrote both Superman Returns and X2. Both Roth and Smith will direct their episodes of Heroes: Origins.
