New Glasses Protect Eyes From Computer Strain

San Diego, California, startup Gunnar Optiks unveiled a new line of glasses that inventors claim PROTECT AGAINST EYE FATIGUE called "digital eye fatigue" or "computer vision syndrome." It does this using several techniques, including proprietary "i-AMP" technology, which, the company claims, "relaxes the ocular muscles that strain to view text and images at close distance." They also cut glare and block ambient light, according to Gunnar. They can be purchased "off the rack" or at an optometrist’s office (mostly in California) or online, and cost between $90 and $200.
