Three-Day WoW Downtime Credit

WoW Insider has word that all World of Warcraft players with active accounts on US, Oceanic, Latin American, European, or Russian realms will get a free three-day credit added to their accounts to compensate for the extended downtime that occurred when Blizzard updated the servers for their MMORPG to the recent version 3.02.

JMS on to remake ‘Forbidden Planet’

TV, comic, and screen writer J. Michael Straczynski has been signed to write an update of the 1956 film Forbidden Planet, according to Hollywood Reporter. Joel Silver is producing; the film is set up at Warner Bros.
