Microsoft Readies SPs for Vista, Office

Microsoft has released details about its Service Pack 2 for Office 2007 that should arrive between February and April 2009, CNET reports, but it’s more cagey about a release for Vista Service Pack 2, claiming it hasn’t even begun beta testing yet. In a statement, Microsoft said: “Microsoft is working on a second service pack for Windows Vista… and Windows Server 2008. Service packs are part of the traditional software life cycle — they’re something we create for all Microsoft products as part of our commitment to continuous improvement.
