Bethesda Says New Elder Scrolls in 2010

Bethesda has revealed that they have penciled in the new Elder Scrolls game for 2010. Paul Oughton, Bethesda Publishing Executive, also said that they still ave no plans to release any titles on Nintendo consoles. Of course 2010 is a way off, but it also might indicate that there is a chance the game would come out on a new bit of Microsoft or Sony hardware. That would be exciting if this is the first whispers of a game for the next-next gen. That is just our speculation, though.

“At the moment we’ve got Fallout 3 for this year and potentially there’s a new Elder Scrolls title in 2010,” said Oughton. “At the moment we’re not that interested in the Wii. We’re going to stick to PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. We’ll continue to pursue three or four titles a year and go for big titles,” he said of the company’s publishing plans for the future.
