Comic Book Review- The Walking Dead #59

Context
Morgan joins the voyage.
Story
Rick, Carl, and Abraham come in to contact with a face from the past, Morgan Jones. When we last saw Morgan and his son Duane, everything seemed to be ok. But now things aren’t ok at all. Despite Abraham’s reservations, Rick allows Morgan to join them. And then…enter: ZOMBIE HERD!!
It is no question that Kirkman is a master of playing on the Human condition and character evolution. It is this that has been driving TWD from issue #1 and at issue #59, he has yet to disappoint.
The conditions we find Morgan in, shows us a character that is distraught and unstable. His demeanor kept me captivated throughout the issue. I was eager to see how his behavior would change from page-to-page. You could clearly see that there is some very interesting things to come with Morgan and I personally can’t wait to see how this will develop.
When we first met Abraham, he promised a herd, and we got one! It was nothing short of intense when you flip to the two page spread where we see the herd followed by pages of “car vs. herd.” With our group on foot and being followed by a herd, it is clear that the issues to come will be awesome. I can’t waiy
Art
When has the art in TWD ever disappointed? NEVER! Adlard’s work is very detailed and descriptive providing for a very pleasing read.
