Valve has revealed some of the planned matchmaking updates in store for Left 4 Dead. Over at the dev blog, the bullet points list on the "to do list" include team-based matchmaking in versus mode, and player skill matching. The devs are planning to upgrade the matchmaking system to allow for third-party campaigns to support to SDK as well, whatever that means.
