The top-tier Windows 7 releases will include a free Windows XP Virtual PC. While intended for businesses to run their legacy software on a superior and more secure operating system, it will also allow gamers to play their old titles that no longer work on Windows Vista and 7, assuming they make no use of hardware acceleration. Examples include the original Red Alert, Dungeon Keeper, or Magic Carpet.
