Natalie Portman in ‘Thor’
Oscar-nominated actress Natalie Portman has been cast in the role of Jane Foster in Marvel Studios’ production of Thor, the studio announced today. Other major roles have also been cast: Tom Hiddleston will play Loki and Chris Hemsworth will play Thor.
Portman comes to the film with some serious geek cred from her roles in V for Vendetta and as Queen Padme Amidala in the Star Wars films.
The film will premiere on May 20, 2011.
