MOON KNIGHT #1 Comes to All-New, All-Different Marvel in 2016!

New York, NY—September 28th, 2015 — Marc Spector has been defending New York City for years as the masked vigilante known as Moon Knight. Or has he? Waking up in an insane asylum shakes that confidence. Turns out he’s been institutionalized since he was a child. But that can’t be true. Can it? Today, Marvel is pleased to announce MOON KNIGHT #1 – the brand new series coming next year from creators Jeff Lemire (Extraordinary X-Men, Sweet Tooth) and Greg Smallwood (Moon Knight)!

His mind is full of identities, and he no longer knows which is real. Now residing in a mental health facility, his thoughts are clouded and he has no idea what to believe. If he calls to Khonshu, he believes the ancient Egyptian lunar god will answer. Is this a sign he still clings to his sanity, or has it slipped from him completely? If Khonshu answers his prayers – what could he ask in return this time?

Dive deep into Moon Knight’s psyche on a mad trip through Manhattan as Lemire and Smallwood bring you a super hero adventure unlike any you’ve read before! Prepare for an all-new MOON KNIGHT #1 – coming Spring 2016!

A feeling like there’s something else going on inside. When terror strikes her small town, she’ll find out just how right she was. As fearsome supernatural forces invade her town, hunting her down – she’ll come face to face with something even more shocking than the monsters on her tail.

Wonder Woman Film To Take Place In The 1920s

A Wonder Woman film is finally coming to screens in 2017, but according to the latest rumors, the film itself won’t take place in 2017 (or the present). Apparently the first Wonder Woman movie will take place in the 1920s.

In the film a man will arrive on Paradise Island, the home of Wonder Woman and her fellow Amazons, and his arrival will eventually lead Wonder Woman to leave the island and explore the world. The sequel will then take place in the 30s and 40s during World War II and the eventual third film will take place in the present day.

Some fans might wonder how Wonder Woman could have been around for so long without a mention of her in Man of Steel. I’m sure the films will have a way to make sure the continuity makes sense (at least I hope so).

The idea of Wonder Woman running around in times when women’s rights were much different than they are today would actually be really interesting. If done right, the films could really tackle something sorely missing in these superhero movies: a strong female character and her perspective of the world around her. And who wouldn’t want to see Wonder Woman possibly punching some Nazis, right?
